Background: Designed by Ye, the SP-01 Mexico City is supposed to be released at a Mexico Pop Up for Ye's Mexico Concerts at the Monumental Plaza De Toros "La México". Although the SP-01 would never be sold at the Pop Up for unknown reasons, along with the HT-01. The SP-01 featured a new logo shown off on @yzy's Instagram story, on the right side, and "MEXICO CITY 01-31-26" text on the left side. A catalog at the sale had shown SP-01, and its price increased from the $20 it is on yeezy.com to MX$720/$40. It was likely made in Mexico. Later on 02/17/2026, Black and White colors were released on merch.yemexicocity.com for $60, another price increase. Grey remains unreleased; initial stock images for the sale were created by 515 Entertainment, others are from the yeezy.com subdomain.
