Background: Designed by Ye, Dora Szilagyi, Steven Smith, and others. The SHDZ were originally a product developed in 2020 in Wyoming and then more in 2021 for a Season 9/Yeezy Gap Collection, then YGEBB and SZN9; the SHDZ/SG-01 eventually became a part of Season X. Compared to older versions from YGEBB, the SG-01s cannot be folded up like the YGEBB versions without a risk of breaking, and have a slightly different shape. The SD-01/SG-01 would see its release on Yeezy Supply's China Website for Shanghai ticket holders and then on yeezy.com Early Stock Images featured a silver lens instead of the Black and were originally named SD-01.
